Experience

My fascination with movement and exercise therapy began with dance and martial arts in my teens and early 20's.

Since then, the studying and experiencing movement has always been a big part of my life.

I started off with formal exercise prescription as a fitness instructor in my late teens.

After each of my degrees, I was able to become more specific in using exercise and activity for rehabilitation.

As a recently graduated physio, I started my career in a hospital setting where I assisted patients regain their mobility surgery or trauma.

However, for most of my career, I have worked in private settings (such as rehabilitation centres/clinics) providing assistance with optimizing movement with a combination of hands on techniques but most importantly, of course, exercise.

I have practiced in New Westminster, BC for the last 18 years.  From 2005 to 2013 I was part owner of Keary Physiotherapy and since February 2015 I see my clients at Restore Physiotherapy Clinic.

Yoga and running are a big part of my life.  I enjoy helping fellow runners with their injuries and incorporating yoga into my practice.
